2009 Fall Tree Fruit Harvest Maturity Reports Apple Maturity Reports began the week of August 17th, 2009. Members of the Hudson Valley Regional Fruit Program can receive reports by email. Growers who already receive "Grower Alert Messages" will automatically receive the Maturity Reports. Members should contact Mike Fargione if they wish to receive the Maturity Reports but are not on his email list. New Format for Maturity Reporting: This year we plan to sample fruit maturity Dutchess, Columbia and Rensselaer Counties on Mondays. Fruit will be sampled in Orange and Ulster Counties on Tuesdays. A complete report for the entire region will be sent following the analysis of Tuesday's samples (usually late Wednesdays or thursday mornings).
